In February 2009, YG Entertainment is welcoming a new female counter-parts to Big Bang Who will also be known as SISTA. SISTA will be a group of three and including Park Bom as the leader. Park Bom was in videos like "Forever With You" - Big Bang, and "Any Star" - Lee Hyori.
K-pop singer, Lee Hyori was found unconscious in her home yesterday on December 27, 2008. She was rushed to the Seoul Samsung hospital at around 11pm. The doctors said she was diagnosed with the pneumonia and severe dehydration. She seems to be fine at the moment, but she has to stay at the hospital for at least 10 days to recover. She was going to have a concert with Bi Rain on December 29, 2008, but it is canceled for now. Hope you feel better Hyori!

I fell in love with TVB series ever since I was in 1st grade, which is many years ago. I've learned so much from the series, in general about life, love, and friendship. I would dare say that some part of my personality is shaped by the series I've watched.
One of the greatest themesong of all time by Chi Lam Cheung. They played the same song in Moonlight Resonance.
This theme song was written in many language.
This song was played in the series "At the Threshold of an Era" during the scenes when Ada Choi was trying to commit suicide.
Though Don't Blame Her was awesome in the series Revolving Doors of Vengeance, but I like this song so much better.
I do not like the series Perish in the Name of Love, but Steven Ma and Charmaine Sheh did a fantastic job at singing the themesong.
The Whistle in the beginning of this song really touches me. I'd enjoyed every bit of this series.
Return of Condor Heroes, truly a classic.

Recently, I've been focusing on my study and have not had the time to watch TV. Unfortunately I fail to do so, because I am so hooked on by The Gem of Life. I was going to let this series pass because it is too long and I thought that it would be one of those grand production that turns out to be absolutely a waste of time to watch (cough...the drive of life). Though this series is different, it caught me in the first chapter. The series start out with Constance(Gigi Lai) moving back to Hong Kong to look for her husband who eventually left her with another woman. She desperately seek for help, but did not want to go to her parents. Caonstance asked her spoiled rich younger sister Jessica(Ada Choi) to lend her some money so she can invest in her husband business, which she finds out later that her husband was already with another woman. The characters of The Gem of Life intertwine with each other in a very unique way that keep making you want to watch it nonstop. Don't worry with you think that I've spoiled the series, the whole thing with Constance and her husband is just the first chapter, there are many more to go

This have to be my favorite this year. It is very fun and everyone in it seem to have a very good time. It look believable, especially Bosco, that is why he is in a jumping scene again. The only thing is that I'm not too fond of the way the girls dress.
Everyone in this photo looks happy and warm, and good way to view the Chinese New year.
This one should get you guys talking.
Overall my take for this year is that the photos look like their from catalogs. TVB always have something new, I think that this year the calendar is a lot different that the other years.

Congratulation to Ha Yu, Michelle Yim, Wayne Lai, Tavia Yeung, Nancy Wu, Wong Cho Lam, Raymond Lam, Louise Lee, and Paul Chun, Myolie Wu. What a deserving award ceremony, all those who won that night deserves to.
- Again, Raymond came so close, but just couldn't do it this year, better luck next year.
- Hurray, Wayne Lai finally won something. He is so talented but never gets the the leading role, but finally TVB saw something in him. I still remember watching him in Monkey king, he was my favorite character(The Pig).
- Tavia should have won best supporting actress in a long time, she is so beautiful and talented, a very deserving winner.
- Wong Cho Lam is so funny, I hope I get to see him in more series.
- It is very expected that Michelle would win best actress.
- Paul Chun is fantastic, he look so kind and nice, a perfect father figure.
- Congratulation Ha Yu and Nancy Wu.
- Myolie always dress nice, she have the body, so why not put on some nice clothes.

I think that I will just change my blog to tvbfan or something similar to that because my sister have not been keeping up with her kpop posting. But anyway, Big Bang newest CD came out yesterday and It was really good. Not to mention that their Japanese album, Which was in English came out a few weeks ago. Some songs I recommend from their Jpop albums are Number One, Make Love, and So Beautiful. Oh yeah not to mention that they have the English version for Last farewell now, which is really cool. They have alot of remix in their recent album, like Lies, Haru Haru, and Last Farewell. Other songs I like from the new album are Strong Baby, Remember, Wonderful, and Oh Ah Oh.
Will I was surprise to see that Tae Yang was centered in the new album cover. Will he is a good singer, but I can barely recognize him with that bubble gum in his mouth. The cover album looks cool and colorful.
P.S. If you haven't listen to Korean pop, you are missing out big time. If you are interest in kpop, I reccomend Wonder Girls and Big Bang to start out with.

I'm almost to the end of MTR and the drama is increasing as it gets closer towards the end. So far I really like Tavia and Fala acting. The more I watch the more I like Fala's character; she did a fine job in MTR. In Tavia barely did anything in HOG except for causing dramas that weren’t necessary. This time in MTR she was on fire, literally on fire. I enjoy watching her character and how she grew from her experiences and how she puts up with all the chaos that Kate Tsui's character gave her. Raymond did an alright job, though he is much sweeter in this series, but I like him better in HOG. Lai Lok Yi was awful in this series; I think that his acting skills have been degraded by his character in MTR. He was boring and was barely in the series until the end. Michelle Yim was wonderful, she should just continue being her character, cause she does a very good job being a villain, I really enjoy watching her. As well as Kate Tsui, this is the first time I saw her evil side and I think I like it. Moses is fun to watch, especially when he is with Tavia. Linda is always so depress with her lover Bosco,” who left her by the way”. It was so sad seeing Bosco left Linda, he was so cold. I can’t wait to see the last few episodes, because I heard that the rating went all the way up to 50 towards the end, which is better that HOG rating of 47.

Last week spotlight was on Fala, a fairly new actress, this week I would like to kick it old school and talk about one of TVB's greatest star of all time. Probably one of my favorite Hong Kongnese actor of all time is Tony Leung. If you seen his works, then you would know that his acting skill is superb. Many know him from his recent movies like Hero and Infernal Affairs with Andy Lau, but many didn't know that Tony Leung started his career with TVB. Tony began his career as hosts for TVB's children programs in the 1980s, then he was promoted to bigger roles and star in some of tvb's classic hit of all time, Duke of the Mount Deer, and Police Cadet 84. Soon after that he began working with famous directors like Wong kar-wai and stared in many great film. In July of 2008 Tony Leung married to his long love Carina Lau. Though he is not with TVB anymore, but sure enough Tony's legacy when he was in TVB will never be forgotten.

5. Fahsion is their priority
6. Oh yeah, "pretty"
1. Kevin Cheng (Yes ladies, I said it right, he is the king or ppbs)
2. Louis Koo
3. Ron Ng (He almost dresses too nice at time, though he needs a good workout)
4. Sammul Chan (I dislike his acting, due to the fact that he gets the same role over and over again. He was rather annoying in On the first Beat and the Academy.) and Survivor Law I&II
5. Roger Kwok (Its hard to call him pretty boy, and he is not taller than 5'9".)
6. Stephen Huynh (Not good enough to win a tvb award, but good enough to make this chart.)
7. Raymond Lam (Excellent singing.)
8. Bosco Wong (He became a pretty boy ever since he wore that earing.)

I'm going to try something new, that is to have a spotlight on a tvb star each week. Hopefully this can attract more readers to my first blog.
Fala Chen, I never thought that she would ever have a breakthrough performance, but her character "Wing" in Moonlight Resonance was phenomenal. Fala have played minor roles in many series such as Forensic Heroes, Ultimate Crime Fighter, The Family Link, and A Journey Called Life. She was always portrayed as a glamour woman, trying to climb high due to her beauty and sex appeals. In MR Fala portrayed a character that is death and living in a middle class Hong Khongnese family, this is the other side of Fala that I've never seen before. At first she reminded me of Myolie Wu in Golden Faith, but the more I watches MR the more I see her true talent as an actress. Not only that she've excel in acting, but she also sings as well. For the first time I heard Fala sang "Ice Cream" a subtheme in MR. Her singing is not up to level yet, but still she have potential.
1. Miss asian America 2002
2. Miss Chinese International 1st runner up 2005
3. Graduated with B.A. degree in Marketing and Int. Business at Emory University in Georgia
4. TVB Best Supporting Actress of 2007
5. First TVB debut in Forensic Heroes
6. Age 26, 5'7.5" (1.71m)

He's probably not the hottest guy around, or either the muscular type, but he have abilities that drive us all insane. Guys want to be like him, girls want him, and children look up to him (literally he is like 6ft.) I must say, one of the best TVB actor of all time is Moses Chan. His charming look, comic style, and weird humor at time make the ladies go wild. HOG and MLR showed his ability to dominate the show. His performance on MLR was phenomenal, I saw the first half of the series and he has one of the main male leading role. Moses is well known for his acting skill, being a comedian at one point and then immediately shift back to drama. After many years of acting for TVB, and been part of many TVB best hits, Healing hands, War and beauty, and When the Legends Begin, Moses won best TVB male actor for the first time in 2007. TVB have been really promoting Moses, giving him many leading roles including the upcoming anticipating serie "Gem of Life" which will air really soon.

After years of coming out many mini album, they have finally going to release their first full album. The mv "number 1" is awesome, pretty similar to their earlier mv featuring lots of original style dancing, club scenes and a story to go along with. Check it out and support BB by buying their cds.

TVB is currently airing The Four with cast members include Raymond Lam, Ron Ng, Kenneth Ma, Sammul Chan, Kate Tsui, and Selena Li. Sure enough the cast sounds awesome, but I was disappointed to see the poster. The custom is very similar to one of the worst tvb movie of all time "Guts of a Man." Will, it is not one of the worst movie of all time but Guts of Man was poorly made. The cast was RonNg. and Sammul Chan who were students of a famous archer that taught them how to fight and use bow and arrows. They then went on a quest to find the four ghosts. Sure enough the plot was boring, but I managed to finish the wholeserie. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone though. The cast is very similar to GOAM, but with the addition of Raymond Lam and Kenneth Ma. I hope that tvb mix things up a bit more in this serie and make it more watchable than GOAM. The cast is bigger this time so I think that tvb will invest more money and time in the serie to make it better. The casts seem to be very good except for Sammul Chan. There is something about his acting that does not interest me at all; in fact it makes me hating his character even more. Maybe it is the role that he portrays, stuborn , irritating, and arrogant. I have not seen Ron since the Drive of Life, his popularity might come back if the The Four turns out to be a hit.
